Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière SS 2004 Cubist Color Block Mini Dress

Look 23 from Balenciaga SS 2004, as seen on Belgian model Anouck Lepère. From one of the most iconic show's in Nicolas Ghesquière's term at Balenciaga, this black and white contrast cubist dress features an incredible geometric architecture. A marvelous take on a bodycon mini dress, the crossed halter straps meet at the front of the neck and fold back into a collar-like flap. The most stunning aspect of this piece is the multipositional sharp black-and-white panel at the bust with black inserts nested inside the ivory front panels. Pieces from this show are incredibly rare and hard to find. We think this would be an incredible piece for a bride to be.
